What the.....

I was reading my friends blog and thought I would post a link that she had. Its about how planned parenthood has spent the past four years trying to inch its way into the christian community. It was interesting and I am still in awe. Share your thoughts.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! You have got to be kidding me! That article made my blood boil! It is so ludicrous! I would almost think it was some kind of a joke- because it seems that unbelievable! What God must think when he looks at our world! I could rant for hours! Abortion is one of the most obvious sins in our country! I am not saying it ranks worse than other things in God's eyes- but good grief- you would think that killing a baby would be a pretty obvious no-no to anyone with a brain! Especially someone that claims to be following God! Ok, I will stop now or I'll go on forever!

It's good to see some rational debate and conversation taking place. I agree with neither the far-right nor the far-left points of view on this but I do believe that abortion is a bad solution to an even worse problem. I also believe that continuing conversations like this will move the middle majority furhter toward some kind of middle ground agreement. That may not be acceptable for many of you but ABSOLUTE solutions rarely if ever work in the real world.

I would hope for any movement on this topic. Coming towards the middle would be much more than we are doing now concerning abortion. The 2 problems I have is that, One, Planned Parenthood is not interested in coming to any sort of middle ground. Its a business and they are there to make money. They dont care the effect that they have on young girls for the rest of their lives. Second, the fact remains that there is a Wrong and a Right so I think its great when we come closer to doing the right and morale thing but why is it that we are comprimising what we beleive so tha we can all get along. Is there a middle ground when we talk about murder or stealing? Isnt it wrong all the time?

see sara, then you get into a whole other debate. fo rinstance, is it wrong to murder someone if they are about to kill your family? is it wrong to steal to eat food if you are living on the streets and need to feed your babies? is taking teh life of a healthy baby in the womb murder, if it is endangering the life of the mother?

all subjective questions with, like it or not, subjective answers. meaning you can take an absolute view if you like, btu it in no means you would be right.

im not saying anythign about abortion being right, so don't go bezerk on me........ what i am saying, is that it is possible to move toward the middle without compromising your value for life.

First of all there is a difference between Murder and Killing. If I kill someone in self defense its not something that I am doing malicioulsly out of hate. I am not a black and white person so I understand the whole grey area thing and I did state that I am glad that people are moving a little towards the middle. But I also beleive that there is Truth that we shouldnt compromise just becasue it will make everybody else happy. Abortion is a HUGE topic and its got ALOT of stuff to debate. I'm not an idiot an I understand ALL of the stuff that you guys are all talking about. One thing that people always say when they are discussing abortion is the whole "what if the life of the mother is in danger". My problem with this is that Most people who are getting abortions arent those womem. They are young girls who have been told that its their only option if they want to have any sort of life and then they are left with crazy emotional consequences among other things.I think that that statement gives too many people an easy out for not dealing morally with things that are happening in their lives... No matter what the circumstances.
