Has someone seen my Sanity???

I think that I have decided to stay in my house until my children pass the age 3. Not that I am saying 4 will be better but if its not please dont tell me! I prefer to stay blissfully ignorant!!!!! I just made a Pointless trip to the mall with my boys and once we got into the mall Jack turned into a possesed monster!!! I have NEVER seen my child or anyone elses act like this in public before. He was Flailing around for reasons I really couldnt understand becuse he wasnt makng much sense underneath all the crying. The ENTIRE mall was gawking at the both of us. I am sure I wasnt making their shopping experience enjoyable but I wasnt going to give Jack what he wanted because that would teach him nothing. SO, we didnt get anything done that we needed to do and I packed up our stuff and left. (After buying him shoes that I am praying fit him, needless to say I didnt reaLly get to try them on) A total of 45 minutes at the mall he spent about 38 minutes screaming his head off. I DID notice later that his cousin gave him some red candy when we first got there which could have been the culprit. Jack has a Strong reaction to red food coloring. (Thanks Levi! :))I'm worn out!!!! So, when you see poeple in the store and their kids are acting like lunatics what do you do. Do you roll your eyes or give them thumbs up for not giving in. (I understand that the answers may be different for those who have children and those who dont) Obviously leaving the store and going home is the best option and gets my sons attention so really there isnt much point in taking him if I am going to have to leave a place 20 minutes after I get there. Such is life....thanks for listening to my vent session!!!
On a happy note..................1 more day until ALIAS!!!!!!! If anyone calls me tomorrow night between 7 and 9 I will NOT pick up!! :)

LOL! Thanks for clearing up that you had nothing to do with the creation of my son. That would be a little scary, actually alot scary! Anybody else reading this have an allergy or adverse reaction to red food coloring?

Oh Sara, I don't have kids, but I used to nanny for 4 girls under 7. It was a struggle just to get them in the car without fighting over who was going to sit by whom. And going into the store? Out of the question!

YAHOO Alias! The blog is going to be out of control today and tomorrow!

BITE YOUR TONGUE!!!! What was so horrible in your oppinion? I know the birth was a little far fetched but other than that I thought it was Great. They are still going to have to answered alot of questions in the next few episodes but I have faith they will.

whatever. after the ample chnaces she has had to kill her mother...... after everytime her mother stabs her in the back, and everytime she sits ther eand listens to her heart felt plea about when she was young, blah blah blah!!!!!! Just shoot the bitch and get it over with. ahhhhh!!!!!

then the normally very well done accents were atrocious! The scene with sydney and her parents and the italian accents. holy crap........ that was some of the worst acting I have seen in six seasons.

ugh.... i could go on.

I didnt notice the accents being arocious at all. I did however Really want her to kill her mom, but at the same time I didnt because her mom has info that she Needs and will most likely Never get without her mother. Plus, if she kills her mom that whole storline is finished and they need to answer more questions about her before they kill her off.
C'mon, plus, you cant say that you didnt love Marshall last night! The door that Rachel slammed into, now that was funny! Plus when he was touring Langley, that whole scene was Great!

Oh Angela, I have one for you and the rest of blog-land. I was in Staples the other day to make a copy and my 5 yr. old very innocently says, "Mommy that lady is really short!" in a very loud 5 yr. old voice...I look over and one of the ladies working there was a dwarf/little person!!!! I was liuke "Shhhhhhh...." then I pulled her aside and explained that the woman knew she was little and it would hurt her feelings etc...It was embarrassing, and Zoe didn't know any better. We've talked about overweight people and people who look differntly, but never being short!!! he...he...

geez.....

sometimes I wish cedar would do that. I can't get him to STOP talking to strangers. Everybody he sees he goes "HI! Whats your name.... My name's cedar!! I'm sree!!"

We play out in the front yard all the time and we tend to have a lot of people walk through our neighborhood an dit's the same thing. The other day we were hitting plastic golf balls in the yard and a couple walked by and he goes "Watch this! I play golf really hard!!!" and proceeded to swing really hard at the ball about four times. the guy says..."well at least he's not bashful"...

I'll say...

LOL! Funny Stories!!! Jack hasnt sid anything embarasing YET, but he is like Cedar in that he likes to talk to everyone he sees in the store except he talks to them about things they dont understand. He'll say, I'm Jack, Im Free (3) and I went to go see my Zoezander, I like them, do you, we were playing and I didnt hit them but I went Pow, I can do a cartwheel wanna see? Then he proceeds with all these funny boy sounds and starts jumping up and down. He says it all in one breath and he makes no sense to those who dont know who or what he is talking about. The people always look at me for a translation but it would take too much time to explain what he means. The problem is he keeps going and when I try to leave he says, "Hey, I was talkin to that lady!"

He...he...he....these kids are a riot. I have a very shy, stranger intolerant child and I like it!!!! Xander just looks down when anyone tries to talk to him. I say he's very "cautious" or he's acting shy today and go on my way. But, Zoe on the other hand wants to talk for 15 mins. It makes me nervous that she could get taken in a store or out of the yard, because she can't remember the "stranger rules." We will continue working on it though!

WOW, Your having a third? I didnt know that! Kudos. Thats a duanting task ahead of you. I have to give single moms alot of credit. I dont know how you do it! Yes, La Leche League sells slings,I'm not sure which kind they are selling right now but I hear the maya wraps are really nice. Elizabeth can give you more info on that! I have a maya pouch that works great for when your babies are really small.
