so tell us the truth: is there a big difference between 2 kids and 3? is there a big difference so far between girl and boys? do you have any brain cells left to even answer those questions?!
lol!!Well, I have only had 3 kids for one week so I'm not sure its a really educated statment as of yet. :) So far its just as hard adjusting to 3 as it was one or two. Its just always an adjustment but its doable and it beats being pregnant still! I do have to remeber to put some things that are less imprtant on the back burner. :) As far as the girl/boy thing goes I Totally notice a difference between Eden and the boys! They were very similiar in their eating patterns. They both nursed forever but then they were done until another feeding. Eden seems to snack every 15 minutes or so then she either gets distracted or falls asleep. She does seem to be sleeping really well at night though (knock on wood). She nurses a TON in the evening but then she sleeps about 3 to 4 hours at a time in the middle of the night. Even when she does wake up she really isnt interested in nursing for a long time. :) So far we're good! :) Again, she is only a week old tomorrow though! lol!
I think the big difference between boys and girls is still yet to come. Newborns are newborns. Of course, there are differences in baby's tempermant and personality. In my experience the jump from 1 to 2 was much harder for me than from 2 to 3. There was stilla transition period, but I was already used to juggling people and their needs.
She is so stinking adorable!
Your right about the Girl/Boy thing. Newborns are different no matter what the gender.
I also think I have had the hardest time adjusting to one. I was used to doing whatever whenever and had a hard time fitting someone else into that. I also worked full time so that may have made a difference in how I adjusted.
Oh, look at that little stinker! I LOVE the last photo... that's probably how she napped in your tummy!
Oh Fu, seeing your baby makes me SO excited to meet my little Isaac. Sometimes I cry because I want him so much! Aren't pregnancy hormones great? ;)
And Mrs. Sara...one day you will be crying because you want him to go away (just for a couple hours!) LOL! Motherhood is such a rollercoaster ride of emotions!
Can Eden come out and play?
...and by out and play I mean...
fly to Washington to live with me ;)
Hey...it was worth shot!
Love you, Fu!

LMAO! Nice Try Netta but I think I'll keep her right here with me :) She is too cute and I went through WAY TOO MUCH pain to get her here to give her up.lol :)
Sara.....your will be here soon!!! :) Pregnancy hormones are insane for sure!!!
Ok...Ok...fine...you can keep her! "F*** you lady!" I'm sorry...I just couldn't resist the chance to throw that in there ;)
You know I was laughing so hard last night. I was getting ready for bed and for some reason Eden's little flashed in my mind. Seeing her made me think of you..and thinking of you made a song pop into my head. No one else would have appreciated the song, but you...well, Wu, might have! Guess what it was...."oh Lordy, pick a bail of cotton...oh Lordy, pick a bail of hay...gonna jump down turn around pick a bail of cotton...jump down turn around pick a bail of hay!" LMAO!!!
Netta
I think she is a little like her Auntie Amy...I always want to eat every 15min too! Of course, I don't want to eat what she eats, because that would be strange and disturbing if I did. hhaha. She is so adorable! I can't wait to meet her in person! Hugs and kisses!!!!!
ROTFLMAO!!!! Netta...I get that in my head ALL the time!!! ANd of course I always think of you when I do!!! The other day I said Edens name and Daniel Chimed in with "Eden....like Eat in Chicken" LMAO!!!!!
As for you Amy....I Love you and all but I'm not nursing you!!! LOL!! Cant wait for you to meet this little angel!!!
Sara nursing Amy...that's a strange visual.
Eew! *barfs*
Hey! Put that baby down and tell us how you are doing :)
Netta
I'm ready to hear the birth story now! :) And see more pics too!
So Sorry that I havent posted....I will attempt tomorrow. Things have not been fabulous here as little Eden has decided to refuse to gain any weight. I spend my days nursing constantly, then pumping, then supplementing with what I pump. Its been a very rough week but I am praying next week will show some progress. i will post more later. :)
Tell her to start hitting the gym! Muscle weighs more so she should be able to bulk up in no time :) Maybe you could start her off with some of those ankle and wrist weights...yeah...she can handle it!
J/K, Fu...what you really should do is start packing her little mouth full of burrito. She can digest it...the crying means she wants more not that the beans are giving her gas or the tortilla scraped her little throat ;)
She'll come around. I believe our little Eden is a fighter and she will gain just what she is supposed to and be the healthiest little thing you've ever seen :) Hang in there!!! You are giving her the best thing you can!
Netta
what a blessing that you've nursed and grown two little people before eden, so you know you can do it. don't let any little guilty whispers of you somehow not being enough for her ever gain ground in your heart or spirit. God trusted you with this little girlie because He knows YOU are the one to take care of her. Be blessed!
