Feb 6th- Happy Birthday Jack (and Ronald Reagan)

Jack and Xander @ 3 months
Jack and Mommy at 2 1/2 months

Holy Cow, Time moves SO much faster as you get older or Maybe its just after you have kids, I dont know. Anyway I cant figure out how 4 years have past since I gave birth to my first little miracle. Jack was a Huge surprise to Daniel and I, we werent quite expecting to have a baby so soon after we got married but 11 months later we realized that God had a better plan for us in the form of Jack Carter. I'm so glad that God has a better plan for us than we have for ourselves! If we had waited the 2 years that we had planned then my mom would never had been able to meet any of my children and I never would have seen the ultimate joy in her eyes when she held Jack for the first time or witness how she she LOVED to spoil all her grandchildren. As I look back, there are SO many blessings in having him when we did. One of many is how he teaches me to be a better wife and mother and is constantly challenging me to smooth out my rough edges. The fact that EVERYTHING we do is teaching them something is very daunting and challenges you to step up! Anyway, I am So very grateful for that 7lb 4 oz blessing that God gave us 4 years ago yesterday and the bigger he gets the bigger the blessing he is! Do any other parents ever feel like they are going to explode because they love their kids so much. Its Really Crazy, who knew?! :)

Sorry the pictures are when he was 2-3 months but, for some reason I dont have any newborn pics on my computer. We must not have been digital yet. :)

It is pretty amazing how much motherhood changes us. Oh...the boys are so cute, but I don't remember Xander looking like that! He definitely looks like himself, but I just remember him differently. But, Happy Birthday Jack! 4...WOW!

Yeah, yesterday Xander wanted to know how many more days till his birthday, so I counted. I said 11!! and then I said 11!...that's means that today is Jack's b-day! Let's call him. A great way to remember everyone's birthdays too. I still think it's funny that they were born so close together, and that was definitely NOT planned for either one of us. That goes to prove that God's plan is so much greater than our own.

Well, take today for example...yes, I feel like I'm going to explode, but not quite the way you do. hee hee. I have had times when I felt that way, right now the only thing that is going to explode is the grenade I have ready for my husband if he gets that "thing" anywhere near me. He asked if I was in the mood, NO THAT MIGHT MEAN ANOTHER CHILD....get that thing anywhere near me this week and I'm gonna get out my MEAT CLEAVER........poor guy......Unlike Sydney Bristow, the only thing that has been COMPROMISED this week is my SANITY

Pat-
We all have our moments like that! I'm in the trenches with my three monkeys and there are days that I just plain want to QUIT! But, I can't, darn! I'd be happy with quitting for 3 hours though. he..he..

But, then there are times that they do something soooo darn cute that I want three more. I am sick. I know. A glutten for punishment. LOL!

HA! Pat, you and I are opposites on that. I'm like, "Why don't you bring your self over here..." and he says, "You're ovulating, aren't you!" And then I lie and hopefully he buys it and I get pregnant.

Just kidding! Sort of!

let the single gal be the one to remind you all that it doesn't have to alwyas be about makin a baby...sometimes it really should just be for fun, and sometimes the GIRLS should be initiating it! don't know what ya got til it's gone ladies:) i'd do it six times a week if i could lol

Yes....there have been many times that I have felt like I was going to explode because of the deep unexplainable love I have for my children. There have also been times I have exploded in frustration and in anger and times I have exploded in tears and in laughter....over my children. Parenthood is a glorious thing that reaches every emotion that we have!!
I have felt like Jen and Pat. Yes sex should be fun... not always just to make babies. But the 6 times a week thing wears off sooner or later in the majority of relationships and it usually wears off on the woman's side because she gets worn down and doesn't have the energy, especially when kids enter into the scene. Guys are just animals when it comes to that no matter how many kids their are running around or how worn out the woman is....enjoy your break Jen!!! LOL Sara your blogs always make for really great conversations and sharing!!

somehow this conversation got turned to sex. Let's just say that not all men want sex all of the time. We have the exact opposite problem in our house. LOL! I love to have fun, not just make babies. I envy the women who can't keep their hubbys off of them, although I'm sure that would get old too. We just need some balance. Why do opposites always attract?

HA! We just had this conversation last night. When we got married, I just assumed Dan would be the randy one. But he's TOTALLY NOT! I'm a big horn dog! And sex is definitely not just for baby making! Heck, it's definitely NOT for baby making for us right now! I just wish it was. :) I wants me a baby.

I really just wanted to say hi to Sara and say that we got Rachel's pictures taken the other day and, oh my goodness!! She was so stinking cute! I can't wait to get them back and show people. (I'll post one on my website so you can see)

LOL! Ohhhhh, Its So amusing reading my blog! I Love that everything turns to something either controversial or...well....sex! :) Hey Sara, you need to have yourself a baby!!!! You got lots of pregnancy and breastfeeding support here! :)
Birdie, I cant wait to see Rachels pics! Where did you get them taken? I am now officially a trained (well, book trained anyway) photographer for Kiddie Kandids! I can actually get pics for free now! That saves me lots of money because I am a sucker for pictures of my kids!

Hi Fu! I'm actually going to the doctor today to find out if I'm developing endometriosis, and I'm hoping she'll order us to pregnant to fix the problem! LOL. Dan said he'd think about it if it was for my health. LMAO.

Sorry, Dan, doctor's orders! Now knock me up!
