Vacation pictures

I told you that I would post some pictures from vacation and I am actually doing it. :) I am actually blogging three times in one week! Holy Cow, its like a record or something. lol! Check out Jacks first catch! How Cute, Ay?

In other news........I just overcame my fear and got my nose pierced. The thought of a needle going through my nose seemed too painful but my desire for a nose piercing become larger than my fear apparently and I just closed my eyes and did it. Its Super cute and I am SO glad that its over! :)

Your pictures are amazing! The one of Jack and Daniel looks like it was taken in a studio! But then again you are a certified photographer, so I guess that makes sense!

Super cute, and congrats on the piercing. I used to have one, until I realized that my body reacts very negatively when getting pierced through cartilage. None of my cartilage piercings (4) have EVER stayed longer than a month before getting hideously infected and inflamed, even with proper care. So, it's just single holes in my ear lobes for me! I'm jealous!

Yahoo!! I have my nose pierced too Sara. I hated my nose before, but I love it now. I have a tiny stub I wear, but I hadn't worn it forever, because I couldn't wear it at work. Now, at my new job, I can wear it.

I have my belly button pierced too, I had it done right after high school. I love it too.

yah, my belly button was peirced but i took it out when I got pregnant with Jack because I have seen too many pregnant womens peircing get all stretched out and ugly. I never put it back in for some reason so it is grown back some. I would have to get it re peirced but I am not sure I show my belly enough to make it worth it. :)
Kendrah, How long did it take for your nose to heal, and they said I COULD NOT touch it or it could get these blisters of some sort. I have accidently touched it a couple of times forgetting it was there, does that matter?

Hey, isnt that pic of Jack and his cousin Ellie adorable? They were both trying to plow the dandelion. It was one of those memoried that I wish I could have bottled. :)

cute pics of the kids as always! proud of the nose piercing, as was aforementioned in our email today:) i may have to take you with me if/when i ever get the guts to have him do mine!!!!! i could have as many tattoos and piercings as i want and i don't have ANY. what's up with that?!

Mrs. Sara said...

If you DO touch it, just make sure to clean it really well with rubbing alcohol. You don't want any bacteria getting in the open wound.

GO Sara Go, Make sure to stop by Greenfields in the mall for supersmall posts that are the best $.

Now only John is left... I think he should have to pick a part that you and Levi haven't done yet...

Hey, Jenny, I am totally up for going with you to get your nose peirced, or a tatoo for that matter.:) We could do it before we go out next week...Now I am going to make sure you do it. HeeHee, J/K.
I was more scared when I got my nose peirced than when I got my tatoo but it wasnt too bad.

Wait I seem to remember that I have two tattoos a two ears pierced. I think that is ok I would get another tattoo if someone wants to pay for it.

That's a lie, touch it all you want. I used rubber alcohol for awhile, though. It's not a big deal, I touched my all the time. And I have super sensitive skin. I never got an infection with my nose, belly or ears. I got lucky I guess. Now I just need a tattoo. I am thinking of a feather quill pen on my left shoulder blade, you know, cause I'm a writer and all, and I love British lit.

I agree with girlscout. I touched mine all the time and I have super sensitive skin too. I'm a "bad healer" and my nose didn't bother me or hurt all while it healed. I used a sea salt mixture with a glass eye dropper and cleaned it constantly (about 4 times a day) with q-tips...one on the outside and one on the inside turning it back and forth. It healed really well and I've had it for about 6 years now. I'm proud of you girl!!!

Sarafu said...

Oh, how I wish they could stay little, well sometimes, I admit, I want them to be abit more self sufficiant but I know I need to cherish this time. :)

Girlscout, you TOTALLY need to that that tatoo. It sounds pefect for you and it sounds very classy, I think anyway. :) I have been wanting to get another one for like 7 yrs and I just never get around to it.

Thanks for allt he tips, I just went and got some ear cleaning solution so I hope that will do the trick to keep it clean. I will let you all know how it goes.

Ok, that pic of Jack and Daniel is so cute! One for a frame or the scrapbook for sure! Awwwww....

Nose piercing? I didn't even know you wanted to do that! LOL! I had mine done one time. It wasn't so bad, but take my advice leave that piercing stud in there for the time you're supposed to have it in. I jumped the gun and put a cuter one in too soon and it got infected. That's why I don't have one today! :-) I bet it's cute on you!

Wait...

Jack and Daniel...

did you plan that?

Well those pics are priceless! Definite keepers!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. :)

No nose piercings here, my piercing days are over, I don't even where earrings in all my ear piercings anymore, I would always take the earrings off and loose them. :)

Sarafu said...

Sandy, I dont wear earings much anymore either....same reason, lol!

Oh and Liz, yah, I decided I didnt talk politics much and it didnt apply to what I really posted on. Plus, I like the part about "anything that will get a rise out of people" because its so true. I guess I get a bee in my bonnet and like to discuss. :)
